Davey water treatment

Davey offers a range of water treatment solutions including:

• Physical filtration using a variety of sediment and carbon filters
• Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection with the Steriflo systems
• Wall mount units with physical filters and UV disinfection (Aquashield)
• Countertop /undercounter water purification with the Microlene units
• Water softeners and iron removal with the Kinetico range which uses no electricity!
• Rainwater purification with a manual dosing system (Acquasafe)

Microlene

This unit reduces unwanted contaminants including chlorine, pesticides, sulphur, rust algae, odours, asbestos, aluminium, lead and also filter sediment and cysts such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium.

The activated carbon is silver impregnated to resist bacterial growth inside the cartridge. The premium model also includes a KDF media layer to reduce the load on the activated carbon to give a working life of up to 3 years, unlike standard carbon filters that require replacement every 3-6 months.

The Microlene keeps the salts in the water (unlike reverse osmosis) meaning the water is actually healthier!

The Microlene water treatment cartridge lasts up to 3 years or 30,000 litres… that’s equivalent to 120000 bottles of water (250ml size).

Aquashield

Aquashield Centurion wall mount systems are a fully assembled package comprising of a 20 micron Filterpure filter to remove larger particles, followed by a 1 micron filter for cyst reduction. The water then passes through the Davey Steriflo UV chamber which inactivates the bacteria, thereby not allowing them to multiply and cause illness.

Non-electric residential water softeners offering, powerful performance to remove hardness from your water.

Hard water contains dissolved calcium, magnesium iron and manganese, causing scale build up and deposits in pipework and can lead to staining on surfaces. Softening is easy and can reduce costly maintenance, increase appliance life-time, reduce cleaning time and make hair, skin and clothing softer.

Davey water softeners are powered by the force of moving water, not electricity. There’s nothing to plug in, no buttons to push, timers to set and reset or adjustments to make, so they’re economical and reliable.
